Classic Detective Game Goes High-TechOctober 2009 (Medialink) -
ANCHOR LEAD: One of America's favorite games just released a new edition which may keep you guessing for quite sometime... and all you need is a clue. Brian Osuch has more with an International spy. (:60)
SCRIPT: Lifestyles, I'm Brian Osuch. The classic "who dunnit" game, CLUE, is changing with the times, and Peter Earnest, founding Executive Director of the International Spy Museum and thirty-five year veteran of the CIA says it's almost like the real thing... and he should know, because he lived it.
CUT: (Earnest) Hasbro has taken their great family game of CLUE, and these folks have now become spies, Agent Scarlet and so forth. And, they also are engaged in spy missions, going to cities they don't know, acquiring artifacts.
SCRIPT: Earnest says the CLUE Secrets & Spies Edition is making game history.
CUT: (Earnest) This is Hasbro's first game in which they've used texting as a device. And of course, in the real world of espionage, high-tech is exactly where the spies are going. There's a tremendous use of the Internet and spy phones. So texting is an option.
SCRIPT: Why did you decide to partner with this game?
CUT: (Earnest) As you know, it's called Clue Secrets & Spies, and that's what the theme of it is. So, it was a natural for us.
